History
I was fortunate enough to buy this car in late 1977 as a freshman in college. paid $1,400 for it and bought it from the original owner. They wanted to sell it to buy a 1967 Corvette. This car was ordered by the original owner from Todd Chevrolet in Perth Amboy, NJ.

It was produced at the Oshawa, Ont Canada plan on November 12, 1969 and shipped on November 13, 1969. It's a basic SS car as far as SS cars go - ordered with the 396/350 and a TH400. Bench seat, AC, tinted glass, AM radio and black vinyl roof and with no stripes. I recently was able to re-connect with the original owner who remembers the car well. Because it is a GM Canda car it is fully-documented and I do have the POP for the car.

In 1979 I rebuilt the engine and bored it .030 over and fortunately didn't deck the block. The engine as well as the trans and rear are original to the car. Also in 1979 I painted the car as it had numerous door dings, but was never in an accident. My career took over and the car was parked in my father's barns / garages over the years until 2000 when he decided to pull the motor and freshen it up (trans too). It has basically been off the street from 1984 to 2015 when I took the car back from my dad. I am currently restoring the body and that build can be followed on my website www.beldenspeed.com
