1965 Chevrolet Chevelle (Indigo Blue)
A 540 CID BBC with Dart 320 aluminum heads, hydraulic roller cam 255/263 at .050 and .680 lift. Rear wheel HP was 545 and 515 foot pounds of torque. Assuming 25% power loss 725 and 690 hp / tq at the motor. Turbo 400 with a 4,000 stall and a gear vendors overdrive. Lemons Headers 2 1/8 inch with a 3.5 inch exhaust all the way out the back.
Fairly stock black interior with a Dakota dash package. Seats are the high back GTO seats with the added foam on sides for extra support.
The color is Indigo Blue. Functional 3 inch cowl hood and the fenders are from a 1980 Grand Prix in the back to give me extra tire clearance.
Global West suspension with 12 inch Impala brakes in the front and a Saginaw 600 steering box in the front. The car has rear discs also. The rear is a 12 bolt with the Ford housing ends and a 3.73 gear and a Moroso Brute Strength posi.
Wheel and Tire
Boyd Coddington Wheels 15 x 8 in front and 15 x 10 in the back. Tires are Avon 245-60 in front and 295- 50 in the back.
