History
Dad bought it around 1999 from a coworker for $1,500. I pulled it into my garage in 2003 to do some quick bondo over the rust so dad could double his investment. After a few months of drinking and thinking, I took it off the frame and had my way with it. I was at about $20,000 invested when he gave me the title and said he loved me. Thanks dad! That was about 2007. I finished the restoration in 2010, with $30,000 into it. Now I'm at $40,000, and I keep playing with my baby.

Modifications

Drivetrain
406 small block, Dart iron eagle platinum 200s, Comp cams XE268, magnum pushrods and roller tip rockers. Weiand street warrior intake, Holley dual feed 650, Heddman elite full length headers that I had Jet Hotted. I tried to go for an Lt1 appearing small block, since I think it would have been cool in a Chevelle. All that is giong through a Super T10 with a 2.64 first and a 12 bolt with 3.31:1 gears and an Eaton posi.
Interior
As original looking as I can keep it. Factory bench, sweep dash. No bells and whistles.
Exterior
Cowl hood, no factory body emblems.
Audio
Just an am/fm stereo, nothing fancy.
Exhaust
Jet hotted Heddman Elite full length headers through Summit 2.5" exhaust and Imco turbo mufflers. I added a balance tube.
Suspension
pretty plain. heavy duty springs, bilsteins, boxed control arms, rear sway bar and I just added factory power disks up front.
Wheel and Tire
American Racing 15x7 Torq thrust D with 215/70r15 Cooper Cobras up front. 15×8 Torq thrust D with 255/60r15 Cooper Cobras out back.
