SS396, Gold bucket seats, console. TH400, posi, P/S P/B, tach, clock, speed warning
Bought in the early 80's from the original lady owner's son in Lakewood CO. It was in his back yard being used as a dog house. The 396 was gone and a running 2 bbl. 350 was in it. The brakes were bad, I gave him about 800 bucks, drove it home, and cleaned the interior with a tub of hand cleaner and a scrub brush. I fixed the brakes, tuned it up, and used it as a daily driver for a while, then sold it to my sister. Under her care it was backed into by a garbage truck and t-boned by a Jeep pickup. I bought it back, got a passenger quarter, door, and fender from a junkyard, and took it to the local community college who did the body repair and paint. I rebuilt the front end and lost momentum, moved and finished another car, now I have a big block for it and it's next on the list of car projects.
1967 Chevrolet Chevelle (Mountain Green)
It's getting a big block back for the first time since I've owned it- it had a 350 2bbl in it when I bought it, the 396 was long gone. In process.
None, original and tired, after it runs again interior will be addressed.
Junkyard passenger quarter, door, and fender and community college body and paint. It's never gonna be a show car but at least it's the original color; it's a 20 footer.
Really? The am radio doesn't work (it had a rear deck speaker but it was blown so my audio buddy threw it away when I loaned him the car once). The entertainment is under my right foot!
Rebuilt stock with Moog and TRW parts.
