Father purchased it in 1978 when it had the Big Block in it, it was completely modified, easily pushing 500+HP, it became more of a repair problem (idled at 1800RPM), so when the oil pan blew out of it one evening in front of a gas station some 40 years ago, the guy made dad a deal where he would pull the Big Block, put in a 350 Small Block, do all the work and give dad $300. He took him up on it. So now the machine has a 350 Small Block in it. Since then it was completely worked over again, bored over 30, electronic ignition, new suspension, power discs all the way around, power steering, A/C. It's been done up real nice. When my dad passed away it was willed to me and now I have it in my garage. I helped him with it when I was younger, so I remember a lot of the maintenance done and now can enjoy driving it myself.
