This California Air Tools 15-gallon electric air compressor delivers reliable power and air flow with less maintenance and noise. Operating at an ultra-quiet 70 dBA, the powerful 2.0 HP (SP-9421) motor produces 1690 RPM, creating less noise and less wear. It is designed to increase duty cycle and allow for longer, continuous run times. Enabling of use in varying temperatures and on uneven terrains, the machine's oil-free dual piston pump system is engineered for high performance and durability. The oil-free function extends the compressor's life cycle to more than 3,000 hours before wear compared to comparable compressor's 100 hours or fewer. You can start this compressor using fewer starting amps with the easy-start valve, which also releases a small amount of air from the pump to produce a no-load condition that allows the motor to spin freely. The included wheel kit permits easy movement around your jobsite, shop or garage.

      I just love the way this got sidetracked. I am not going to attempt to repair the tank. I was asking people which brands they have had good luck with. I also posted a couple of links, but no one seems interested in giving feedback on the links I posted. So, here they are again. Let me know if you think that either one would be a decent unit. If they aren't, then I will keep looking. I can purchase a new tank almost like mine from Speedaire for $421 and transfer my existing compressor/motor over. The issue is I would probably have to completely redo all of the plumbing on it, as the ports are not in the same location(s) as mine (I am not good with pneumatic plumbing).

      If it were me I would go with the Zoro unit as it is an ASME welded tank. The others did not make that point. While the other two are UL listed I trust ASME a LOT more than UL.
