Done more than a few installs over the years. First thing will be sound deadening. If you intend to run that amp at anywhere near the rated capacity you need some major upgrades to sound deadening and electrical. Been my experience, anything over 500 watts you need to add sound deadening or you will just add layers of distortion and metal rattling. That amp is rated [email protected] ohm, [email protected] ohm, [email protected] ohm. Any more than a 4 ohm load, figure in a capacitor. For reference, my son once wired in a 1500W Kenwood with a pair of 12" Kenwood subs (bought used). Had them in a Pathfinder. Aside from rattling so bad, it was downright uncomfortable to ride in if the subs were turned up. Even his buddies didn't like it, was just too loud.
He eventually went to one 10" JL 10W6v3-D4 http://www.jlaudio.com/10w6v3-d4-car-audio-w6v3-subwoofer-drivers-92140 One of these produces incredibly deep powerful bass. This produced better quality deep clean bass at much lower listening levels. It would thump hard if you wanted to, but you didn't need to run it as hard to get that subwoofer feel.
I ran one 12" JL12W3v3-2 http://www.jlaudio.com/12w3v3-2-car-audio-w3v3-subwoofer-drivers-92153 in my Chevelle with a 500W mono amp. Only ran it about half gain. Thread in interior section we talked about sound deadener, Eventually had to foam the trunk lid to stop body panel distortion as well as add sound deadener throughout the trunk and interior.
