Paint scheme and color is the original that came on my El Camino (not sure if it was ever repainted). I put Chip Foose nitrous rims on it. Cut a whole in the hood to fit the velocity stack since I did not get a small rise intake Manifold. It has under the hood a 402 big block. Also have a th350 and I have dumps, stock suspension except upper and lower control arms. Grand National rear with 4.10 gears. Did a whole disc brake conversion on it.

First time out in natural light in over 3 years.
Still not done---little things like locks, parking brakes, Power brake booster, and fix a leaky rear main seal.
But---It did drive outside under it's own power:D

"But here is the real Klassic Plumbing plumbing truck."

Those early ChevyVans, Econoline/Falcon, and the A-100 van are cool.
Wish there were still more around.

The pick-up versions of the Econoline/Falcon and A100 are WAAAY COOL
(Did not really care for the Corvair versions tho--Greenbriar/Rampside)

I found this pic of my buddy's Elk from High School. He bought it painted and with a 307. A 383 was next, and then I built a mild 468 for it, and it went 12's with a tight converter. Mine was just a little quicker. I couldn't build something faster than mine... LOL. He still has it today.

Here's mine from the last Pinks All Out 2010 in AZ. It was bomb-can primer then, I have since stripped it and did a bunch of body work. I'm in the process of shooting epoxy primer and single stage satin black w/ satin white SS stripes. The rear suspension has been changed, dropped 2", and added a badly needed ani-roll bar. Haven't run it yet.

Here are a couple of before and afters of my 72 Sprint. Seven years of spare time in my garage. New floors, quarters, all glass, and interior.I want to put a craftec bed cover on it yet.
I changed the color to Steel cities gray & the interior to black, also added Power disc brakes, it is an L-48, turbo 350, factory bucket seats and A/C.

I'll play. My '72 Camino bought back in Jan. This was after I put new wheels and tires. That's my '64 Chevy II wagon in the background.
