I was just looking at your old e-mail from last year. I just wanted to say that I ran into Bob Broughton in Bancroft about 3-4 years ago. He had a variety store acoss from the liquor store. This past month I contacted Al Bertrand, the salesman who sold me the COPO car. He lives just south of Haliburton. We're trying to get together for a chat some time. With the name of grayZ, I was just wondering if, by any chance, you owned the gray '70 Z/28 that Beare Motors had there in '70. Al let me take it out for a short test drive. No, I didn't beat on it.
Just registered this minute. It concerns your COPO Chevelle. I'm going to test your memory some 40 years ago. I see your profile picture and I sure you are the one my buddy ( worked at Beares pumping gas ) and had the pleasure of a coutesy ride in your COPO. It started in the IGA parking lot? Your COPO had radio delete and you had just installed an aftermarket radio in the glove box, right?
PS: I believe you lived in Oshawa. But I see from your profile that you're from the east so that would explain your pal with the orange COPO was from downtown Ida?
Great to hear you story
