    I didn't go with anything fancy. I just used a single screw loop type restrainer. You really can't see it in my picture as it is just barely visible. I tried to find you the air tube hose but could only find one for 77 and up. However I am sure you will find one. The blower motor (originals) are different then a non ac car and it could overheat without it. Looking at the 1977 hose it probably could be modified because the ac box connection is the same.

    My 68 El Camino Malibu and my 68 El Camino SS. In 1968 I got my 1st 66 Chevelle SS. 30 years later, I got my 2nd. Both Chevelles are in the same location.
