Why aren't more threads showing in the project builds, pro-touring, restoration corner, etc.?

I can't believe that there are more threads to read.

I marked the tach brown (top feed) and Pink (bottom).
looks like I'm good for the white tach wire going to the brown tach lead.
    Cool ,thanks Rich

Hi, Ron here from Lake Tahoe. How are you?

Might you have a few minutes to help me wire my original built in tach on my 65?
I have AAW classic update wire kit.
I have a Mallory HEI with a lead on negative coil.(White wire labeled Tach)
White wire goes to firewall bulkhead connector, then inside it comes out of the fuse box.

So Question is where does the white wire go on our style tach?
It only has two post. Is one post also the power feed?
One post is up high in the middle, other post is low of center.

Thanks much Rich, for your help..

    Hi Rich,

Hate to bother you without going to the tech forum first. Finally got around to trying to resolve my '65 washer issue after 15 years. My 2 speed wipers work fine. Bought a cheap kit ($7) from Rock Auto. No luck. Lines are clear. Tried a new switch. Nothing. Had my wife push the button today while I watched. Noticed no movement of the arm going into the valve assy.
If I remove the 3 screws and remove the pump, is it easy to put back on? Have NO ambition to remove the wiper assy. Will leave it alone if no easy solution. Noticed replacement pumps say one speed. Mine is 2 speed.
Looked at the diagram on the Chassis Service Manual page 12-38.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Rich... I am looking for your post about pulling your wagon body off the frame. I thought I saw it a while back but I cannot seem to find it again. Would you be able to send me a copy to the link? Thank you very much. Justin

Rich, I could use some help! I'm looking for a fully restored '65 Malibu SS to purchase. I prefer an L-79 but it must be a true SS. Any advice is appreciated. I lost both of mine in a flood (Hurrican Sandy). Thanx Frank

Rich, because I've had no response to "WCCG is still alive" in Cruiz-ins i would like it removed. we're in the process of setting up 4th annual West Coast Chevelle Gathering and will start a new thread once we get firm date for park reservation. Thanks for your help. Bob

I have a 65 chevelle ss and am restoring the trunk "malibu ss" emblem. I was looking at yours but am curious on the colors. I think the malibu script is black, the ss is red and the part i don't know about is the black part beneath the ss. Is it all black underneath the ss or is it just the top of the fins that are painted black? Thanks for any help

Hey cousin..I have a friend here who has a client looking for a 67 Chevelle, big block, 4 spd car..Figured you'd know of one, he's willing to drive for the right one and is looking to spend between $10,000 and $30,000 for the right one. He's wanting a driver that he can upgrade along the way.

Just got mine back from the body shop today, now the reassembly begins. I went with Mystic Teal. It's not perfect but it's good enough for me as I'll be driving it every day. Here's a couple of pictures that I took when it was still in the booth, I'll take more along the way.. I took seats out of a 99 LHS, front power buckets, and the rear seat and console. Did a little custom console for my stereo, picked up an instrument panel from Classic Dash out of Carson City to hold my VDO gauges, and all the weather strip and door panels from Ground Up. Now all I have to do is put her together and figure out how to get the wing windows out to replace that rubber. How's your wagon coming?

no. need to remove the thread from last year. someone accessed it as recently as january and also the people at sacramento raceway asked me to remove it because it is causing confusion. the thread started by alan last year dated feb 4 2009. also, there was a page you could link to that al had up last year. need that removed if it's still here somewhere.
