Unfortunately, I'm in Fort Wayne Indiana. I DO get to Dallas every few years, but probably not THIS year. My wife has family in Wylie, Plano, Quinlan and Josephine. I'd let it go, along with a vintage set of chrome Chevy Power valve covers for $500. This was a running 120,000 mile engine in a 73' C-20 that I took apart, greased and bagged in 1986, where it has been ever since.

73 virgin 454...steel crank. Oval port heads.
Ok I'll bite where are you located...I'm totally done with small blocks. I'm 71 and was always a big block guy.
Why I ever got started on the sbc's is beyond me!
I miss the sound the torque the..uh..everything!
I just built a ls6 454 clomne for my 70 Chevelle...but still have to build something for my project 69 (almost no rust Chevelle). It has a junk 350 with a 4 speed.
I've been looking for another 454...maybe this is the one?

I'm in Texas (Azle)..how far away and how much?
    Thanks...Stan
