Tom, Yes remember you and your '67. Sorry I don't know about any '69 L78 convertibles but that would be a rare piece. I bought my first new car from Dick Hunt Chev in Sept, 1969. It was a '70 Nova SS L78. Bought in my mom's name. I still have the sales receipt for it.

Hey, von, long time no talk. I hope all is well. I believe you may remember me from when my brother and I were building and racing a turquoise '67 300 Deluxe.
I'm writing, because if I recall correctly, you know a fair bit about old Indy history regarding the car scene. A friend of mine is trying to dig up the early history of his late father's '69 L78 SS convertible Chevelle. It is oddly optioned, because it also has a bench seat and a 4spd. A bit of a unique car. I posted about it in Bench Racing. I'm trying to find out if anyone would have known about the dealership, Dick Hunt Chevrolet, or recall seeing the car itself when new. I think my buddy has only been able to trace the history back to about the 3rd owner when it was down near Bloomington, IN and his dad bought it. If you have any thoughts, I'd be mighty happy to hear them.

    My best,
    Tom Harold

Hey Von, was good seeing you again in Ohio.

Are you coming over to the KC show next month?

We are staying at the Hampton Inn.

Von, do you have an original 69 passenger door panel for sale? Is it assembled. Do you have a drivers panel also

Hi Von, How are things your way? Great I hope I posted a tech forum question on TC on interiors. I'm hoping to convert 1967 Riviera bench seatbacks into 1968 bucket seats, actually, only the passenger seat, it has the reclining option! I've noticed the mounting brackets look different and am wondering if you have any experience with these type seats? Rod
