    That's cool. I also dream of a lift someday. I have an oversized 1 car garage that's packed with tools and parts. Hope to find a new house with a bigger garage over the next year. I'll PM you my email add, you can send some pics.

    I work on my cars at home, I have a two car garage with the basic equipment, air compressor, welder, power tools, etc. I fly airplanes for living so that means that I have a lot of flexibility on my free time, so I am hoping get a lot of work done on the car. I can't figure out how to attach photos to this message so I can't show you my car but it has a really crappy white paint job with green stripes and a green interior, I hate the way it looks. At some point I will have to find a good body shop to do the paint.

    That's cool, I've always been a Chevelle guy especially 70-72, so it's all I know. Thanks, I do all of my own work, with an occasional help by a buddy or two. Most of the time it's just me, as one friend isn't really a car guy, but is just a real good help when I need it. One other buddy, I meet on this forum with a 71 Chevelle is very knowledgeable, but he's retired. The car body wise was like that when I bought it back in 2010. It's a driver, and shows it's imperfections up close. Body work is the one area I wish I could do, as it's so expensive to have done. Someday I'd like to have the body done. You must have a nice set up at home, or do you work at a shop?

    Your car looks amazing. Did you do the resto yourself? Thanks for the offer of help, I wont really know how bad it is until I start to tear into it, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. In the next couple of weeks I plan to get the motor and tranny out and strip out the interior so I can see what I've got.

    That's cool, let me know if you ever need a hand with anything. I hear ya on the cold winter. One of the best things I ever did, was to put a heater in my garage.
