    Hi Troy,

You’ve got a great build! All the pictures are helpful, especially the shots of the radiator hoses (12/15/2017). Thanks! I’ll be going to O’Reillys soon. The cold air intake behind the grille looks awesome.

I’m doing something very similar with a ’65 El Camino: LS3 (GM Crate), Tremec, 3.73 rear gear, HydaTech, Wilwood, Vintage Air, Tanks Inc., Dakota Digital, Ridetech in front, Hotchkis in the rear, Ridetech coil-overs all around, etc. I’m doing all the plumbing work now.

In your Jan. 14, 2018, post, the first photo shows the engine bay. On the right side of the throttle body is a red cover over a vacuum port. On my crate motor this port is connected to an “Evaporator Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve”. However, GM does not include this valve in the list of “Connections Require for Correct Operation”. So, I have no plan to use it. My question is, do you plan to us this port and the valve on your engine?

    Thanks,
    rmc65elco (Rod)
