1968 Chevrolet Chevelle 300
History This car was the Public Utility District car in Earlimart, CA. from new until around 2009. I bought it from the 2nd owner who bought it from Earlimart. I got the car home with 56,500 original miles. I have the unused protecto plate and original "exempt" registration and "E" plates for being a government car. It had the original interior, motor (307), trans (3 on-the-tree) and even rear shocks were original. It has one paint job. It now has a 12-bolt with 3.55's and a Muncie M-20 4-speed. I have also added power steering and power disk brakes. The rear has complete Hotchkis suspension and the front control arms have been rebuilt with poly bushings and Hotchkis springs. Koni shocks all the way around. Tach and gauges added as well. The 307 now has camel back heads, an L-79 spec cam, C3BX manifold and Holley 600 carb.
