My hammer collection

No reason, just a picture.

Generally these were bought over the years at the swap meet for $5 or less. The beat hammer with the purple handle was my fathers and has sentimental value as I misused his tools constantly.

Re: My hammer collection

I had an elderly friend who passed away last year. This guy was a pillar of our community and he had collected hammers all his life, he had over 2000. There were hundreds of people at his funeral and his family had placed boxes and boxes of hammers outside the church where his funeral was held. The family asked each attendee to take one of Sam's hammers home with them. I have one and it's kinda special to me.

Owning a Chevelle project is like having a giant-size piggy bank that you keep pouring money into....but you can't get it back out.

Re: My hammer collection

When the vice grips won't move it,

it's time to break out the hammers.

Start with the claw, then on to the sledge.

I first heard that about 40 years ago at a model airplane club of all things.

I see no mason's hammer. That's my fetish as a retired mason.
