If this is a major issue that you guys would like to see brought back to how it used to be (I imagine you were able to use the same image in multiple threads before), we can look into restoring that feature.

Would that be something you guys would like us to do? We want to make the site as enjoyable as possible and bringing back previous functions that you guys found useful. We cannot guarantee it as some update with the software may interfere with that function but we can try nonetheless. What do you think?

Thanks for your patience and cooperation.

Cheers,
Natalie
Yes Natalie, I'd like to be able to post an image more than once… …BUT…what would be really great is to have the possibility to "manage pictures" (add and delete pictures)... I've asked about this many times and always got a big "no" for an answer supposedly because old pictures can still be helpful to some…not sure about that but I think replacing old pics with newer, more relevant ones would definitaly be an improvement. I'm sure I'm not the only member who wish they could do that.
Thank you,

Claude.

Re: Pictures can only be posted in ONE thread?

Hey Claude,

With regards to managing pictures (to add/delete) - I can see why this is not favorable. Deleting pics as mentioned wouldn't be useful to those who find them helpful and also it creates holes in the database by deleting them. I understand you want to replace these old ones with new and updated to improve them. You could post the new ones and provide the link to the old ones so viewers can see the old and new. It would give the best of both worlds if you think about it.

Cheers,
Natalie

Natalie ,another reason for being able to delete/edit photos is that when their albums fill up ,there's no way to add more pics.
Mabey a larger user album would help the issue if the delete/edit option isn't a workable fix.
Current 10mb for regular members fills up fast.

Exactly. Mike summed it up better than me. If the site absolutely wants to keep the older pictures so ok and be it, but please remove the limit of pictures so we can upload new ones as needed!

Re: Pictures can only be posted in ONE thread?

I increased the 10MB to 25MB for regular users, so I hope this helps! Anymore than that, they can consider the premium or lifetime memberships to have 50MB. Please check here: https://www.chevelles.com/forums/payments.php.

As for the same image which could be used multiple times in different threads, I'll submit a ticket to our techs to see if they can bring this feature back.

Thanks guys,
Natalie

Yes, I meant to say regular as in non-supporting members. Thank you for clarifying that.

Hey guys, this feature has been brought back. Now you can post the same image in multiple threads - yay! Give it a try and let us know if it's working for you.

Your patience has been rewarded - thank you.

Cheers,
Natalie
