69 Beaumont Trunk emblem placement

My 69 has a Chevelle trunk lid. Does anyone have measurements to drill holes for the Beaumont emblem? Finally found one after 15 years. Filled the Chevelle emblem holes when I built the car.

Thanks for the picture. This is one of those "measure 100 times, drill once" kind of things. I'm wondering if the Chevelle trunk lid will have access for the speed nuts or if I have to drill those as well for the Beaumont emblem.

Isn't there a way you could glue it on (like on the new cars)?

Claude.

Re: 69 Beaumont Trunk emblem placement

I looked at doing that, but it's a pretty thin emblem. Not a lot of room for the 2 sided 3M tape. It would probably squish out the sides and look bad.
