Re: 1969 Beaumont convertible restoration

Well we are getting down to the short strokes now!

The grill and headlight bezels were cleaned and detailed,

Front bumper brackets installed,

Airbrush detail on the trunk,

Fitting the bumpers,

These Dynacorn ones fit pretty well for repops,

Installing the top,

Took it outside in the sun for the first time, man she really glows!

Started on the interior,

Carpet getting fitted,

Sound system going in,

Retrosound head unit,

cheers

Re: 1969 Beaumont convertible restoration

rear bumper fitment does not appear to go over the lip on tail-light assembly??
that does not seem correct,
is that bumper for a 69 chevelle, and the Beaumont bumper is different also?
car is looking great, good work

I think its just glare from the super shiny bumper, earlier picture of the rear end, bumper looks good.

Re: 1969 Beaumont convertible restoration

Thanks fellas,

Yes the bumpers are chevelle, exactly the same as Beaumonts lol. I think you're looking at it from the upwards angle, but yes it's mounted correctly

cheers

Re: 1969 Beaumont convertible restoration

When my car was new, it would have been the hardtop twin to that car.
Verdoro Green, Parchment interior, 307/TH350, buckets and console.
Of course when I got the car all of that stuff was gone. Seeing a complete car with that combo kind of makes me wish I'd gone with the stock color combo.
Nice work, that car looks great! I've only seen two 69 Beaumont convertibles in person, rare car for sure.
