Re: What do you think it's worth?

That's a great looking ElCamino and done very well. If I had not bought my 71 a few months back, I'd be flying in to look it over and looking forward to a road trip back home. I think you are priced realistically.

I think thats a great truck at a great price. Guys thats ever put a car together understands this would be a whole lot easier to buy a turn key over building one, and a lot cheaper too. Good luck with the sale. Jim

I would be hard pressed to negotiate for a lower price! That is a Very nice El Camino! If it were mine, I would probably have a little bit HIGHER asking price.

looks like a great car for the money. no doubt about what you have invested. I may be thinking of selling mine for the same reason(put about 100 miles on this year). but I wouldn't let it go for 19 ish. I think half of what we have invested is a fair price. if someone finds a restorable car you better know how to restore it. cause it's pretty hard to find anyone to work on these cars anymore. and if you do it's going to cost plenty of time & money. good luck.

Yes I think it's fair. You might even be selling it short.

Re: What do you think it's worth?

$50k invested in a ~$20k car

I always hate the fact to do a car right, you have to take a huge loss.

My asking price would be more around $24k, as someone may just "have" to have it...

I wonder what that thing would bring if it was a two door chevelle. Costs the same to restore but just not as many el camino guys put there. Jim

Re: What do you think it's worth?

I've had some emails but everyone is saying they would like to see it during hot August nights, so I placed an ad in team chevelle. Lucky I'm not in any hurry to sell her, I just want her to go to a nice home.

Re: What do you think it's worth?

I think you're a little low on your asking price, you can always go lower but not higher, I wouldn't go a dime lower than your asking price, very nice Elky!

Re: What do you think it's worth?

Nice car....er truck

I think you are light on the price too. Be worth the few bucks it costs to get an appraisal done. Should be someone in your area qualified. At least it gives you a starting point.

either way, good luck.
