Wood Wheels

Not what you're thinking. A friend of mine was talking to me about this auction and I figured it would be good entertainment for the TC crew.

I think the high bid on this auction is a pretty accurate estimate of what they are worth....

Re: Wood Wheels

They are hideous. Someone from "I want something different" land will be into them, but those guys are usually cheap. I think the seller is going to own these rims until the end of time.

Re: Wood Wheels

Gosh ! I wonder what they would look like on my triple black LS-5-M-22 El Camino. Then I would have to call the Terminex and have my wheels sprayed once a year. Golly, We all have had wheels with rust, Holy Kow, Now they may get termites ! YIKES !
Bob
P.S. do ya think one of the LS-6 guys may want these wheels.

Didn't quite meet BIN, auction ended with a bid of 1 penny.....

When I works, I works hard.
When I sits, I sits loose.

Re: Wood Wheels

As stated, they would look great on a woody..... Esp. if the side panel color was similar.

Re: Wood Wheels

If they were at least 15" it would help.

Tighten it till it strips and back it off a quarter turn.

It appears from the pictures, that the wood spokes are a cover that attaches to a steel wheel.

These have to be a forgotten remnant of the van craze.
