Holley 1050 List #4575

Acquired this carb and a Team G intake some time ago, but didn't put much thought into it until I looked up the numbers on it, and it turns out it's a pretty neat carb. Obviously needs cleaned up and most likely at the least a gasket "kit", but does anyone know what something like this is worth? I found a few on Ebay, but they have the original box/stickers/tags etc... asking +$3,000. Obviously this isn't that, so what do you know? It has what I assume is a date code of 11/73 stamped above the List #4575 and I know its missing the original choke plates, that's about as much as I know. I also found a original advertisement for these carbs.

If you check completed items, rather than what's for sale, you will see they are changing hands in the $300-400 range. However, those have had the choke towers milled off. The fact that yours still has them, even though it looks like yours is missing the rest of the choke assembly will probably add some value. Those carbs listed at $3,000+ are on a fishing expedition.

Checking completed items has saved me from making countless mistakes when buying and selling. It's a great recourse that is often overlooked.

Good luck in selling your carb. Someone building an accurate "day two" or nostalgic race car would probably like to have it.

Now I have seen it all. A dominator with a choke assembly. A perfect carb for your daily driver!!! Thanks for posting the ad, I really got a kick out of it. A 9 second carb but they failed to tell you all of the rest of the equipment to get you there. I agree with the above value of $300 to $400.

No problem, I enjoy stuff like that as well. If only the choke parts were easy to come by..... If I can find someone that actually has an assembly, and maybe get some measurements I could machine myself some new ones. The carb/intake doesn't really fit the combo that I am putting together, but I love the idea of having a vintage carb on there for some extra story telling.
