Since it is consigned, I wonder how much percentage the dealer makes on a deal like this. Not numbers, high price, decent color. $36 is my liking. Wonder where it's been all its life. If folks are paying 49k for that, then the value of ours has gone up as well. Just have to advertise well and find THAT buyer.

Looks nice, but for 50k, I would want front disc brakes. How fresh is the paint?

It looks like a well optioned car with a older resto. Nice to see AM/FM with a multi plex. They did show if it has the correct kick panel speakers and covers that are very hard to find. Does the ac blow cold? The car needs a set of steel wheels and mag wheel covers. For that price I would make sure the resto included good body rust repair and the stamp pad is good.

Re: What do y'all think of this 67?

I like the car but the manhole covers have to go. A nice set of first gen rallys without the centers or rings would be my choice. Or a nice set of black steel wheels with vintage 60s chrome lug nuts.. I would get a set of 255/60r15 Cooper tires from Diamond Back and have them remove all the sidewall markings so they look sixties vintage. I would get a set of black steelys made in 15 x 8 with a 5" back space. Wheel Vintiques Series 62 wheels would work well. I like the fact you can install center caps to them..
Here is my 69 elco with a set..

A vintage set of Baby Moons would look fantastic too...

My buddy has one of these but its a SS396 car, dark blue with black interior, 375/4 speed/3.55 posi all manual.. He wanted $38,000. It was truly in mint condition with 47,000... It was too clean to be a driver which was what I was looking for. Once I drove my 69 el Camino and fell in love with it all other cars were off the table..

You suggest an el Camino to your buddy. There cheaper and much stronger with that massive frame there for they handle much better than the regular GM A body..

Just wondering if it's a clone, it has a Malibu dash strip.

Re: What do y'all think of this 67?

Id wait.

The market is changing and wont get better any time soon. Decent cars at reasonable prices are starting to show on the local CL. This will only accelerate in the coming months.

Only the super rare or the very best will maintain their value. Now, more than ever, patience and persistence will pay off.

It looks pretty nice! Isn't the alternator brace supposed to be on the back side of the alternator boss? Did the factory paint the thermostat housing orange or not? These are not a big deal, just wondering.

I just wanted to see if anyone would notice that Randy.
That and the grill extensions painted wrong for an SS made us kinda wonder.

There have been some 67 SS cars known to have the wood grain on the dash though.

Friend didn't like the looks of the trim tag rivets but there are a lot of cars with very sloppy trim tag rivets.

I mainly wanted to see what people thought of it being an original SS car.
Seems a little high priced to me.

Last I heard, he was going to make a delivered offer and I'm thinking with this virus stay at home deal the price of these cars is going to drop drastically due to the supply and demand.

The hood is either an aftermarket, or mis-adjusted, or the hinges need Willie's attention.

Re: What do y'all think of this 67?

Not the best color in 1967, and with the automatic I think that hurts the value even "if" everything else was proper. Too much money imo.
