Compare the buildsheet to an authentic one on this website. Do the same with the engine stamp. Both pretty obvious when you compare the two.

Review the "Statement of acceptance" and compare to a real one. But I'm guessing you knew that Dean 😉

Thanks !

Wouldn’t someone spending this kind of $’s check this ??? Is dealer a goofball, or does dealer assume clientele are goofballs ?

Re: Yet another fake LS6

GEE................ If you are going to FAKE A CAR....... Dumb AZZ. At least,,, FAKE the buildsheet to match the FAKE CAR, Thank god you are building FAKE Chevelles and not building a MOON ROCKET.....
ADVICE....... Start small, LIKE build a FAKE 70 BU, With a 6 Cyl. and a Power Glide. Then see how it goes!..

Build sheet appears to be a "fabrication" which calls the entire car into question. The engine stamp being decked and restamped story may also be a fabrication. The restamp also calls the entire car into question.

The "statement of carrier acceptance" is incorrect. https://www.chevellestuff.net/1970/bs/arl/arl_396.htm

https://www.chevellestuff.net/1970/bs/arl/arl_454.htm

If we dig deeper into the build sheet we'll possibly find more "anomalies".

This should be brought to the attention of the LS6 Registry experts. Maybe they have an explanation???

Re: Yet another fake LS6

Just a word on registries....there are many, some great, some have no credibility due to listing cars without the knowledge to discern which are bogus. I thoroughly trust Dale's registry, he clearly has the knowledge and has done the work to know just which cars past the sniff test. He also has a column within the registry noting the car's creds or lack thereof. I've reviewed others which just ask for money, yes, they actually charge you for the entry....and don't have the expertise to weed out the forgeries. So, when you hear "my car's in the registry", question it's integrity.
