LS6 Convertible 10,222 miles

It is a beautiful car. Does the Team think it will bring the estimated $350,000 - $450,000?

That automatic transmission is the only detriment to the car from what I can tell.

Re: LS6 Convertible 10,222 miles

The person buying this car could care less about the type of trans as long as itís correct for the car. If you think your going to find anther LS6 convertible with 10k original miles in a four speed your be waiting a very long time.

I agree Keith, the buyer for this car is a wealthy collector that seeks the rare pristine examples. It's too bad the original owner changed the rear bumper pad. I'm a little confused on the air cleaner. It says it has cowl induction but the cleaner isn't a cowl induction base. Maybe some of the experts here could clear that up?

Google VIN 136670L195340
I wonder how many times it has sold since I saw it.

I absolutely love the car! They're only original once. It is of no value to anyone except as a collectible. As an investiment, I don't think you can even afford to recondition the master cylinder. That's too bad.

Agreed. A detriment in this case to the tune of 25-50k.

That hood is just a cowl (domed) hood - there is no flapper that I can see. I believe that the cowl induction hood was an option - one that the original buyer probably didn't want to spend the money on.

Re: LS6 Convertible 10,222 miles

I read that it had a dual snorkel air cleaner when Bob Fuller bought it new.

Has anyone heard if Mr Fuller is still around?

Re: LS6 Convertible 10,222 miles

I took another look through the pictures and Brian is correct, not cowl induction. You would think that at almost a half million dollar estimate that the the description should be accurate. Also for that kind of money they should find a dual snorkel air cleaner.

The pics on Mecum show a dual snorkel air cleaner on it.

Re: LS6 Convertible 10,222 miles

Doing some google searches and if I'm looking at the right car, it looks like it was sold for $500,000.00 one time.
Also both sides have been repainted.
