Re: Found another 70

This is a good price. The seller seems to be honest about his knowledge of the car as well. https://easttexas.craigslist.org/cto...891127241.html

Re: Found another 70

Wonder why they put a fake VIN in the ad.
Because they didn't want it to be googled?

I agree this is a much more reasonable price and an honest seller. This car would be + $20K if it were at a ripoff agency, I mean a dealer.
As you can see I am not a strong proponent of classic car dealers. Same cars are available on the private market. Why pay them?

I think the main difference is the hole, it should be round, not oblong.

Better call or text quick, it won't be there very long.

The one on my 67 SS looks huge compared to that one. Might be the angle of the picture. If you are looking for a 70 I'd be glad to post a few links if I come across any good ones.
Looks like an original 7/8" 1969 and later (no OEM rear bars on 1968 and earlier) F41 rear stabilizer bar to me.

Thanks every one
I went and looked at the car this morning
What a joke
I'm standing there looking at rust bubbles in the bottoms of the quarters and fenders and he is telling me how good the car is
Definitely not a SS car

Also noticed the cow tag was a Kansas car and no L on the tag

If I am not mistaken they had L on their cowl tag for super sports

I am definitely going to look at the one in Texas on CL

Thanks

In one of the photos of the inside of the door you can see the blue info tag which has the vin 136370k119756 which matches this BJ 396 car - 1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 396 AWESOME CONDITION AUCTIONED FROM BARRETT JACKSON for sale: photos, technical specifications, description

BLM found you some nice ones! Like the red one too, but the red interior would be a bit much for me.
