Look at the stripes on the deck lid again.

"LS6" is a motor, not a body style.

Deck lid stripes are too small, someone washed em in hot water, they shrunk.

OK... I was focused on the hood, which didn't look that bad to me. Deck stripes do look a little skinny.

Re: Nice colors on this '70

By the way... you guys were sharp enough to spot the driveshaft, etc, but I'm surprised no one even mentioned that this doesn't appear to be a factory disc brake car. There some other things I see too. Obvious clone (and nothing wrong with that if it was clearly advertised as such). I still think it's a nicely done car though. Too much money for what it is.

At first glance it is a good looking car, I couldn't live with that dash but the rest looks pretty good to be a driver. No its not perfect but Im sure you could buy it for less than a real LS6 car.

The seller actually thinks those stupid chalk marks are a selling point.

I thought that someone was playing tic-tac-toe under his hood.

It's a very nice car indeed, but I'm not a fan of the Deadpool interior. I wouldn't kick it out of the garage though.

I like the look of an SS car but I would never try to fool anybody into thinking that it is something that it is not.
Gorgeous engine bay! Have you written up how you cleaned the firewall and did the wiring tucks? I would enjoy reading it.

Also, can you tell me about your white gauges? Are they the white overlays?

Apologies for the hijacking...

Thanks Dave
I have not written anything about the work that I did. Basically, when you install an aftermarket A/C system you need to remove the original heater box, which leaves a big hole in your firewall. I just sealed up that hole with a steel plate and body worked it so it was smooth. I also ran all of the wires and hoses behind the inner fenders so engine compartment would have a clean look. It was relatively easy to hide all the wires because I used American Autowire's Classic Update wire harness which has all the wires longer than you need so you can cut to fit.
The gauges are not white, they are actually silver. They are from Dakota Digital.

Really nice car. I dont know much about LS-6s,,,,or crayon markings...But I think that he should put a vacuum hose on the destributor. Even clones 'gotta run right.
