IIRC didn't you need to carry an extra fan belt in corvairs due to the horz. & vert. belt routing? maybe I'm thinking of a different car though, btw I like the turbo car too!

Yes a fan belt, fuel pump and points plate were the 3 items you always carried with you in the trunk. I've been driving one off and on for 35 years and have never had to replace any of them. A lot of guys run electric fuel pumps now and have changed to electronic ignition.
