I guess the seller finally figured out he couldn't put the car back together for the $500 he had planned and the sandblaster missed a spot

I bet he would take a lot less for it. You've got to start somewhere. There are a wHOLE lot of negotiation points to deal with. In the right hands it could become a nice ride.

I had heard about the factory "lightweight" Z11 1963 Impalas... Did they carry this concept one-step further in '64? LOL
