Re: Getting an unfinished car ready to sell: Bang for the buck?

I have 8" ralleys on one of my 70's, painted and cleared, no rings just the police caps, go to a car show and everyone comments on the simple yet aggressive appearance and how nice to see a Chevelle with something other than blingy aftermarket wheels

I would clean and detail the heck out of it only. Maybe spray paint the top radiator plate satin black so it doesn't stand out so much. The next guy who buys your car is going to make it his own and will most likely change a lot of things anyway. In addition, you're probably looking at somebody who is on a budget so don't put any more money into it at this point. I would also sell it in the spring when the car season starts to get fun again.

Good luck!

Yeah, terrible time to sell a car in PA right now. I'm trying to only mess with things that nobody else will want to fool with, but will appreciate the fact that it's done. Like the turn signal switch I just got done replacing. It's one of those "one less thing it will need" parts that didn't cost a fortune.
