If your doing it for theft prevention, I wouldn't waste my time. These old cars are easy to hot wire as all you need is a jumper from bat+ to coil + which will negate anything you do to the stock ignition wiring.

I use a ford style starter solenoid which is mostly to cure heat soak issues. From there you can wire in a push button start.

You're just jealous because you can't hear the voices!
