New Guy, trying to help my dad

My dad recently purchased a 69 Chevelle with a big block, and I am just trying to do some research for him on exactly what he bought.

What is the best section to post in for general help such as that?

Depends, use the corresponding forum that closely represents the category in which your question falls into.

Re: New Guy, trying to help my dad

I got one that I don't know where to put it and feel kinda stupid asking it.

I've always been under the impression that a Chevelle is always a Malibu and it was an option that you selected on a Malibu to get a Chevelle, but upon reading recently it is the other way around correct? A Malibu is an option on a Chevelle and a Malibu is always a Chevelle?

All of them are Chevelles, the Malibu is the upper trim level.

Welcome to Team Chevelle.....

When I works, I works hard.
When I sits, I sits loose.
When I thinks, I falls asleep.
