New member from PA

Just dug my ‘66 chevelle out of the garage after sitting for probably 20yrs. Needs work, but had her since high school. Threw some crappy wheels on it since the other tires were all flat and dry rotted. After some fresh gas, new battery, and checking a few things out, she fired right up! Sporting a 396, muncie 4 spd with a hurst v-gate shifter, and a 4.56 posi. First picture is the evening we dug her out. Second picture is about a week later.

Welcome to Team Chevelle.....

When I works, I works hard.
When I sits, I sits loose.
When I thinks, I falls asleep.

Since high school, eh? SO NICE!!! That is a project car you need to see it through. And you'll LOVE driving that bad boy once again!

Awesome. The rear tires in photo 1 look massive. What size are they? Thanks for sharing.

Thx everyone for the comments. I wanted to add my location, but I don’t know how to do that.🏼 I’m from Blandon, PA. Outside of Reading.
Anyways, they were m50’s on the rear. The cragers are gone. They were only 14”, and were in rough shape. I did have it out for a little joy ride last week. Forgot how much fun it was to drive.
I’m sure I’ll be hitting the site up for some help in the next couple months. Got a few ideas of what direction I want to go with this project. Thanks again everyone!👍🏻

Re: New member from PA

Any history that it was ever a western NY car?
Possibly looks familiar.
