Hello All!

I just inherited my brother's '69 Malibu 350. It was originally grandma's car, bought new in '69.

We are in the process of restoring the dash. Having a lot of fun looking for parts, etc.

The gear indicator on the column shift is broken. It's a little white piece of plastic attached to a spring with a bright orange/red indicator at the end. Tells the driver what gear they are in.

Any suggestions on how to find one? I guess they are NLA from Chevrolet.

Thanks!

Scott

Welcome Scott, to Team Chevelle.....

When I works, I works hard.
When I sits, I sits loose.
When I thinks, I falls asleep.

Re: Hello All!

Hey All,

My bad. I found a NOS one online. It was a miracle. The '69 is in the shop having dash work done, hence the need for the shift indicator. I'll post pics as soon as I get her back next week.

Thanks for the warm welcomes!

Hello to All Chevelians

My 69 Chevelle is in need of a new harmonic balancer. Been thinking about an ATI Balancer, any thoughts on if they are worth the $375.00 price tag?
Thanks, Dave -First timer-
