Very nice. Can't wait to get mine in some primer. Or at that stage anyway...keep on working!

I hear ya. Let's see some pics of that bad boy.
I love to see pics of other peoples ride in my threads. Kinda helps me get motivated sometimes.

Nice. That dude is low. I have a friend who dropped his 65 over an s-10 chassis and it is on the ground.

Thanks. It's been a busy 4.5 months for sure. My goal is to have it ready for the Goodguys show in November. Shouldn't be any problem.

Re: New (to me) 72 El Camino Project

Well, worked hard all weekend getting the El Camino ready for color and starting at 5:00am this morning I put some color on the body and the doors. Came out pretty dang good for painting outside, if I do say so myself. Was gonna paint it tan up until a couple days ago when I decided to go with a light Gulf green from factory 72 lineup. Little bit of orange peel to cut and buff off, but other that that and a litte bit of dust and a couple knats its good to go.

Re: New (to me) 72 El Camino Project

I put quite a few miles on it just for you Wayne and found some more truck parts to buy that I dont even need as well as a few I do need.I am ready to go back to work as soon as the Dr will sign off on it ,been out 5 weeks now I think but I have been putting the miles on my classics during recovery since that is all they will let me do.

Sounds like a nice way to spend recovery. Enjoy the time off. Get well.
