Re: 65 SS Chitvelle - My PT attempt

Don't know exactly how much to have it done. They are doing a few things on it, so lumping them together right now. It is a Pypes high tuck build-your-own setup in 2.5 inch for ease of routing. Has Vibrant reducers and flex joints.I know I might be losing some performance without going 3 inch, but for the ease and the fact it is a true all out race car, I thought it would be worth it.

Thanks, tail pipe is tucked up so you can't see it.

That's how mine will be also, tucked up with a little turn down just below the bumper.

Re: 65 SS Chitvelle - My PT attempt

Made a quick trip up to check on the car and truck projects last week. They are both coming along nicely and should be ready for spring...although I have said that for about 4 years now...

Dusty but looking good.

Haven't quite settled on stance yet, but the forgelines look great. I need to order up a standard hub cap for the front as Tobin's doesn't fit under the forgeline centercaps.

Here is the final resting point for the exhaust, I thought it was going to be a bit higher, but I am happy with it. Should push the smoke from the tires out nicely during a nice burnout.

Engine bay is getting cleaned up of all loose ends. Need to run the power steering lines and AC lines still. Also need to get a new wiper motor to stick in there before mounting the clutch master.

Some other angles of the car.

I like it! I would forgo the wiper motor tho, as well as the wiper blades themselves. Much cleaner look and really, how often do you intend on operating this in bad weather? RainX does a superb job.

I think I need them up here to get it inspected for road use, but I will check again on that to make sure.

I see a Sarasoto next to your name, was that always there or have you started going for winters down to FL?
