Just for the fuel tank? Or did you buy 2, 1 for the fuel and 1 for the rear diff?

So with that said, looking at getting more parts to stockpile over the winter.

What are people using for radiators on their LS swaps? I see that Tommycomfort uses C&R, what are others using? Any recommendations?
Dan,

I bought the same C&R cooling module from Tom for my Chevelle. Very nice unit!

Dan,

I have a Boyd's EFI tank that I bought for my C10 and its a nice piece but for my Chevelle I went with the Tanks Inc stock appearing tank with an Aeromotive 340 internal pump, 0-90ohm sending unit and built in baffling. It will handle that 416 with no issues. Tom is a dealer for these as well and I'm sure his pricing is as good as anyones, plus he's a great guy and a long time member here.

Re: 65 SS Chitvelle - My PT attempt

Anyone got a set of headers laying around that they aren't using? Trying to figure out which ones to buy but figured I would ask around to see if anyone had some they didn't use in their build. PM me and let me know.

Dirty Dingo adjustable mounts came in today. I should have figured it out, but they are way heavier than I thought they would be.

Re: 65 SS Chitvelle - My PT attempt

Things to consider for header fitment:

Ls3 416
Autokraft oil pan
Short and wide motor mounts --- energy 3.1114G (obviously can change if needed)
Dirty Dingo Adjustable motor mounts
T56 trans

Re: 65 SS Chitvelle - My PT attempt

I know I am probably jumping the gun on this one too, but I can't seem to wrap my head around what i should do for my seats.

I have always leaned towards going to go with the Sport-R model from TMI. Pro-Series Universal Sport-R Low Back Seats, Pair - Products

But I also get caught up looking at the 04-06 GTO seats. I also saw that the 2000-2003 BMW M3 seats have the shoulder belt in the seat.

See, I am all over the place. I just don't want to be disappointed if I do all the work on my old seats to have them not that great of a finished product.

Also, what are people doing with their back seats? Just recovering? Or finding newer seats which fit the dimensions of the car?

I should probably start a post over in the interior section for this question.

Re: 65 SS Chitvelle - My PT attempt

Those are the same seats that I ended up going with. Pretty nice seats with lots of adjustment.

The frame mounts used the original holes but I still had to drill holes because I had a bench seat before.

Was it in line with the Rick's pricing?

Re: 65 SS Chitvelle - My PT attempt

It was a fuel cell for a race vehicle...can't compare it to one of those tanks.

Re: 65 SS Chitvelle - My PT attempt

Tom F assisted with my ordering of the Master Cylinder kit from Bowler Trans. Getting ready to start working on this thing again. Getting quite excited. Trying to justify picking up a rotisserie.
