Re: Back in the driver's seat.

Went 12.888 and 112mph at Beech Bend last Saturday night.
(nevermind those R/Ts, first time running pro-tree)

60' needs a lot of improvement. I was running fairly consistent 1.84s with the same suspension and less tire when I had the automatic in it. Stick is way more fun though.

If I can't get it under 12.50, I'm going to spray it into the 11s.

315/30/18 BFG Rival S street tires.

This was part of the "Grand Champion" competition at LS Fest, so 200tw street tires were required.

Re: Back in the driver's seat.

I corner-weighed it yesterday. It's a little lighter than I expected, but it only has about 1/4 tank of gas in it.

a gallon of gas only weighs about 6 LBs.So figuring a full tank would be 20 gallons you could add
90 LBs. to your total if you had a 1/4 tank in already.

Re: Back in the driver's seat.

It's easy enough to re-weigh it after I fill up. It was raining and the car was clean-ish, so I didn't do it yesterday. My tank is smaller than stock because of the Watts Link, and the gauge isn't real accurate (sits on full for the first 100 miles, then drops fast afterward) I'd guess I'm about 12-13 gallons light.

I usually autocross with a full tank so that it's the same weight balance every time.

Re: Back in the driver's seat.

I bought a GoPro, and shot some in-car footage this weekend. View of the course isn't great, but I wanted to see what I could learn watching what I'm doing behind the wheel.
