How doable is this with the body still on the frame?

Has anyone had experience with stuf from ABC performance?

Thanks in advance!

While I didn't box my frame, I hand made all new brake lines from stainless tube and I covered all of it with stainless armor (the spring coil). The armor prevents rocks and pebbles kicked up by the tires from hitting and puncturing the lines. Coils of tubing and springs are on ebay as is flare nut packs.

Most bends can be made by hand. Brake line pliers made the smaller bends a breeze. I used a Cal Custom flaring kit.

I installed the ABC Kit on my 64 frame. Worked out great! Just be certain to check your cross member location prior to any other finish work, always easier to get it going before hand. ABC also sells SS Brake lines, fuel lines will probably be easy.

Thank you, I already have a 12:1 box, and a proforged front end actually. I did go with BMR springs, and I did cheap out and buy the knock-off control arms, but I've replace all the ball joints. The rear is all UMI.

I do thank you again for the offer... I don't plan on mini-tubbing this one.

You have to take the body off, but the hellwig frame fx kit I put on my 68 is first class. It adds another body bushing in the middle to do more than just box the frame. It also is closer to the size of a convertible frame vs. just putting a plate over the open part of the frame. I have no engineering data, but I don't think that they could even be comparable. I started making my own to just cover up the open c, and I cut it all off about half way through the first rail. The FX kit was head and shoulders above this. But I don't think there would be anyway to do it with the body on the frame. This probably doesn't help you, but maybe it will help others that are contemplating what there options are.
