on Cummins trucks there are access holes in the wiper cowl to remove head bolts and stuff. you may think of something like that to access the valve cover bolts and be able to remove them for maintenance.

I love the build. and I'm not bored with the details haha (still dreaming and saving so i can continue on my project. )

It might be hard to see in the pics, but there is enough space to lift the valve covers off. Also, I have another set of covers that are shorter than the ones on the pic. I'm also using Jesel shaft rockers which are a lot shorter than a conventional rocker with a stud girdle, so that gives more room to get the valve covers off.


Once the body is on to stay, I'll finish the sheet metal around the cowl and add access provisions if it seems necessary.

I've been welding the joints that I can reach. Now with everything removed, I'm putting it on a rotisserie so I can get to all the hard to reach places and get this thing buttoned up!
