Steve,

I am going to try to say this in a way not to offend anyone but I did not post my price because I did not want it to turn in to a debate as to if the car is worth it or not. I truly respect many members on here and their knowledge of Chevelles is incredible. But I know what I would need to get for the car and some may just not get that so thought it would be simpler to leave numbers out of it at this point. If there is anyone reading this thread and would want more info, pics and pricing I would be happy to discuss with them through PM, texts or phone calls.

I am willing to sell the car and obviously if I post the car online somewhere the price would be out there and I would be happy to post here, but just not there yet.

That is a great looking car, Pat! I’d say one of the big auction houses would be your best bet. I’ve only sold 1 classic, and it was not a high end car. In fact, low end would be too much praise for that heap. I used the popular auction site for free advertising, got an offer and sold it for what I had in it. Good luck with the potential sale.

Here is a link to a 1969 Chevelle conv restomod on Bringatrailer.com.
You can read comments from viewers and “watch” the car for updates.
There must be a reserve on this one because otherwise it would say “No Reserve”. Like any other auction the price will shoot up at the end.

I have made the decision to try and sell her. As soon as the weather gets a little nicer i will take a ton of pics. I have reserved a spot at Spring Carlisle and will list on carsonline. If I still have it come August I will probably run it through Mecum. I appreciate all the input.

I've been there often thru the years and I wouldn't sell such a high quality flawless car there. WAY too many people touching the cars. I'd want to stand guard over my car 24/7 just to keep the people at distance!

Now if I had a driver to sell - ok

Did you wind up replacing the front seats or recovering the stock ones?

Front seats are currently out. I ordered TMI Sport covers for them. Buns came in but the covers are on backorder.

Re: Best way to sell a higher priced Chevelle

Well Pat. Do yourself a favor and don’t strip down your seats till you have your new covers in hand and have checked them out for defects.
