Sorry didn’t clarify, need a set for a 2dr Ht. The post on the glass frame are broken on both of mine. Restoring looks quite pricey, have a couple leads on both east and west coast. Just making sure I was right about the 4 door models, my four door parts car didn’t have doors.
Gonna take a wild guess he has a 2-door coupe and he needs wing windows and is wondering if the wing windows from a 4-door sedan would work on his coupe.
I actually have a couple leads on some, not going to replate, planning on painting them. The post that runs through the spring on the bottom of glass frame are broken on both windows
Hollander (40th Ed, 1974) shows the Vent Glass, front, as being interchangeable among all '64 - '65 models, and '66 - '67 two door sedans. They do not have a breakdown for the front door vent assemblies themselves. Yes a hardtop/convertible vent assembly will have a chrome upper section, while one from a post car will fit inside the outer door frame. Like this '64 / '65 / '66 Pontiac Lemans unit. Do not believe that there was a first generation four door hardtop model.
So he needs both vent window FRAMES for a 2 door HT. Problem is the frame is RIVOTED to the total wing window assembly. So he really needs two assemblies for a 2 Door HT. I don't think the 4 door (or 2 door post for that matter) will work but anyone can chime in and let me know. Since they are framed I think the 2 door Post cars and 4 door cars have "shorter" assemblies.
I sent you a message as I have the 2 vent window assemblies with glass.
