I suppose it doesn't matter if the members don't want the site changed?

Why wouldn't it matter that the members of the forum don't want the site changed ? You would think that if more than half of us don't want it to change then it shouldn't change, right ?

Re: New look of chevelle tech???

Well then maybe someone should start a poll with choices on whether the site users want a change. If they have an option to revert to the "classic " choice as they do now then it would r matte r to me. In that case I would just select Classic.

You and I and others view ourselves as members and belonging to something. Auto guide sees us as eyeballs to be sold. In short our reasons for being here are being taken for granted. They want something that’s easier to administer en masse.

Re: New look of chevelle tech???

It's not the members that make money, it's the advertising.

I think they lay out the forums to match the advertising software at the time.

Re: New look of chevelle tech???

I personally think some of us should consider opening our own chevelles.com substitute. There are many considerations before this though. VS is going to do nothing but make it worse each "upgrade" until it's totally FUBAR. VS has never even pretended to care what we want. Very unlikely they'll start.

it's dollar per ad sold. They won't do anything unless it results in immediate revenue to VS.

And reduced cost. I can imagine a huge economy in administrative costs if all of their forums are set up exactly the same.
