2019 Chevelle

If you google 2019 Chevelle you will find that Chevrolet is planning to release a 2019 Chevelle based on the 1969 Chevelle in 2019, I also see where this was also mentioned for the 2017 year , I think this is a hoax for both years, anyone have any concrete info?

Re: 2019 Chevelle

Yah I think they were going to do a Chevelle in 2012, then 2014, then 2016, then 2017 and now 2019. Highly doubt it will ever happen. If it does they will be $60K and wont be anything like the Chevelles we all know.

Re: 2019 Chevelle

Auto manufacturers are planning to kill off sedans in favor of SUV's in order to make more efficient use of manufacturing facilities and sell more of what the public wants. The chances of a new Chevelle are none and none.

Re: 2019 Chevelle

But then GM has been known for using the same name over for something different.
I hope they don't use Chevelle over again like they did Malibu.

Re: 2019 Chevelle

I don't care if they make a Chevelle again because for one I could never afford one, and would not want one. I'm not into modern cars. Hell, I couldn't even afford the yearly tabs, or the monthly insurance on a car like that. I'd rather drive a 69 Chevelle with no A/C with the windows rolled down.

Fake News. It's not happening, not now, not ever. people need to stop falling for this. If it was the case, there would have been press releases by Chevrolet.

Imagine if they did...

Build a car based on the old school appearance, then add some hellacious engine with a transmission labelled something along the lines as "rock crusher", something to compete with the dodge muscle cars that were reborn.
