A picture of a picture. This is my car shorty after it’s life began. Really cool to see many of the little things (like the bumper) are still with the car. Nothing like the smooth lines of a Chevelle! 😊

Re: Old photos of your Chevelles.

My first Chevelle started out as a 307 automatic convertible with factory AC, purchased from one of my customers when I was in landscaping for $1,800.

Yanked the motor, installed a 383 stoker and super T10, IROC blue paint, parchment interior, HD springs, hotchkis suspension, Goodyear ST's and 15 X 8 Rallys.

Miss that car.

Mike

Did the rear of the car really sit that low when the car was newish?
Or do you think the trunk is full of some really heavy stuff?

Summit has coil spring spacers. These are 1.5 inch, but they have others. That car from 1988...if I remember correctly had 1.5 or 2 inch. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sps-1628/reviews/

Re: Old photos of your Chevelles.

Great looking car I love the stance. The remington tires look good on it. I had a set on a 280Z around that time.

Picture is from '67, no heavy stuff that I can recall, perhaps just the angle . . .

Re: Old photos of your Chevelles.

The day I brought her home back in 2007.
The 396 was long gone, replaced with a 283 sbc.
