'72 Replacement Grille - best quality options?

The ol' Greenbrier had a little run in with a bird...got a couple broken grill slats.

I'm just wondering what you guys that have been done this road have found when you had to use an "aftermarket replacement" grill.

Just need advice on who has the best quality grills out there. Or do they all come from the same place in China??

Thanks, in advance. Mike.

Re: Replacement Grill Q's

Bueller, Bueller, Bueller...???

Somebody on this board has had to have replaced their grill during a resto or from a fender bender...

Re: Replacement Grill Q's

I wish I had the answer, I've only had the pleasure of using GM parts for the grill. I'll get you a bump to the top though.

Perhaps a post in the general tech section might get results. A better title might help. I thought you were asking about barbeques.

Thank you Al...LOL!! In my haste to find a replacement for my "grille", I didn't even realize I had misspelled grille. I feel a little bit ashamed, I usually pride my self on my spelling and punctuation. Thank you for fixing my title.

Subscribed. I have to replace the grille on my '72 and have been trying to figure out the best one to get as well.

I'm pretty sure that Dan ("RealRed70") has a brand new one for sale…

Good luck!

Would you be interested in a very nice used GM grille? I have some. PM me if interested.

Re: '72 Replacement Grille - best quality options?

Got my grill from Dan, "RealRed70" last week. Finally got it opened today, looked good.

Have to give him BIG props for the packaging...

Re: '72 Replacement Grille - best quality options?

Thanks Mike. I package items very well. These old items must get there in one piece.
Thanks, again;
Dan
