Luggage Rack Stainless Pads

Any suggestions on what to use for replacement pads on the stainless strips on the factory luggage Rack?

Re: Luggage Rack Stainless Pads

I dont make them because I haven't taken the time to figure that one out yet. I know you can buy rolls of rubber on ebay, but holding the rubber to the stainless strips could be an issue. so I was thinking what if you got strips of refrigerator magnets with a rubber backing or glued the rubber to the magnet strips. then it would stay in place and could be removed for waxing the roof? Just a thought. but either way something needs fabricating!
