I just recently started working on car projects again after taking the summer off. I am helping my son with his Corvair project and hope to get busy on the El Camino soon.

I had a health setback a couple of months after submitting that last post. I ended up with an atrial valve replacement, cardiac ablation, and a pacemaker. I am doing well now and have made some progress with my son's Corvair.

It is hot here again, but am trying to get reorganized and ready to work on the El Camino. I pulled the chassis out of the workshop and am moving it to the house garage. The body has been stored on barrels and 4 x 4 s since I started the chassis. I put it on a body dolly so I could move it in and out of the shop. I am expecting a two post lift on Monday so I need room to install that.

Ugh - sorry to hear that, Bruce - I was wondering ...

Glad you're on the mend!

Thank you, Dave and Bill! I think I am back to normal. Hoping to stay this way.

My 2 post lift arrived today. It is designed for small garages with low ceilings. It only lifts 45 inches inches. It should be good for lifting bodies off of frames and putting them back. I will do a little report on it when it is installed. Dannmar MaxJax
