Re: Lets see some team El Camino pictures

pm semt and youre exactly right, making them better or function is sometimes a good thing if youre going to druve it a lot. These never were colectible anyway. I like seeing stock restored cars but have owned some and frankly I got bored fast. Nice job

Re: Lets see some team El Camino pictures

Paint scheme and color is the original that came on my El Camino (not sure if it was ever repainted). I put Chip Foose nitrous rims on it. Cut a whole in the hood to fit the velocity stack since I did not get a small rise intake Manifold. It has under the hood a 402 big block. Also have a th350 and I have dumps, stock suspension except upper and lower control arms. Grand National rear with 4.10 gears. Did a whole disc brake conversion on it.

Re: Lets see some team El Camino pictures

First time out in natural light in over 3 years.
Still not done---little things like locks, parking brakes, Power brake booster, and fix a leaky rear main seal.
But---It did drive outside under it's own power

Re: Lets see some team El Camino pictures

Here is a link to the 1969 Beaumont/Camino put together by Jay Anderson (now deceased) from Oregon. It just sold for a very, very reasonable price - http://www.classicmemoriesmotorcars....amino1011.html. I also attached a picture of my 1st El Camino, a 69, as it was giving up its 350 and trans so that my 2nd one, a 68, would come to life.
